Why doesn't amd create a dedicated bitcoin mining card to free up the prices of their gaming cards?
we all know the rise in amd's gpu prices because of the bitcoin mining. my question is, why don't they create an affordable and efficient, dedicated mining card without all the bells and whistles needed for gaming to shave away from the price? they could plan ahead and pre-produce them to prevent selling out immediately. this means the prices in their gpu's can drop back to the original price therefore bringing them back into the gaming market as the best bang for the buck. i would imagine that a billion dollar company would of already thought of this so why haven't they done it? thanks in advance.
